Hide-A-Fly

Hubert sat enjoying the sunny warmth radiating through the large picture window at his favorite restaurant. He never missed a Thursday. The meals were hearty, perfect for a retired logger. The wait staff knew his order when he walked in the door. By the time he sat, his steaming coffee was at his table. The perfect ambiance was disturbed in the warm months by pesky flies. One flitted from the window to his napkin on the table.

Memories returned of his visit to the family dairy farm in Wisconsin 50 years earlier. The kindly cousins offered him a piece of pie. There were those sticky, yellow fly strips hanging in the kitchen and dining room dotted with their dead prey. He politely declined, “I just finished a big lunch.”

He began to ponder. The restaurants could just give you a fly swatter, No! Could you use the reliable fly strips, but hide them? As usual, most of his good ideas came while drifting off to sleep. The next morning, he told Barbara, “I’ve got an idea!” as he drew a picture of the Hide-A-Fly on a scrap of paper. With the help of great engineers and metal fabricators, the Hide-A-Fly is now available for your home or business combining a proven method of fly capture with exquisite decor.
